Bob Jane Stadium is home to the South Melbourne Soccer Club and Albert by the Lake.

Formerly the Lakeside Oval, home of the South Melbourne VFL Football Club.  The Stadium was given a facelift in 1995 and renamed Bob Jane Stadium.  It now has a capacity of 14000 with seating on all sides of the Arena.

Soccer games are held every second Sunday from February to August during the Season while in it's down time it is used for training by SMFC and other sporting clubs. It also holds special events such as Outdoor Cinemas, Corporate Family Days and Team Building excercises.
